Under the Orange Traffic Light Setting, we follow government guidelines. Here are some additional things to note:
- Please do not attend class if sick in any way or have any symptoms of sickness. Similarly please do not attend if you are still in your self-isolating period or have Covid.
- Please use hand sanitiser upon arrival.
- We ask that participants physically distance from other families where possible.
- Vaccine passes are no longer required.
Facemasks:
- At Churton Park Community Centre, all persons over 12 should wear a facemask, unless they have a mask exemption. Please note, teachers may periodically take their facemasks off to demonstrate.
- These are not compulsory at the FAB Music home studio. At the first class of term, we asked for honest thoughts and feelings on their use - we do not want anyone to feel pressure to wear or not wear them. The resolution was that class participants favoured not wearing facemasks during class. However, if you feel more comfortable wearing one, we encourage you to do so.
- Churton Park Community Centre encourages signing in with the Covid tracking app. We will also be taking records of everyone attending.
- If you would prefer your child does not touch any shared equipment (which is sanitised after each class), please let us know. We have some music gear available which you can purchase. This can be ordered here.
- For the Covid times and the unpredictability it brings, we are offering the option of a half term enrollment (5 weeks - from Tuesday 25 July to 25 August) for Mini Musos Classes. This gives you the option for a shorter commitment time for if things dramatically change in our community.
- If local Covid case numbers rise and are deemed a concern, FAB Music will either defer your music classes or continue classes online.
